Hey! I’m Zoe the owner of ZFit based in Louth, Lincolnshire.

However previously I’ve set up community exercise in just about every location within the East Lindsey district whilst working in different job roles, so I’ve had the pleasure of meeting so many wonderful people.

April 2019, I decided to take the huge step and launch my own fitness company. It was a nerve racking but exciting time. This year ZFit will be 5 years old. To this day it still blows my mind that people attend my sessions week in, week out and some for the whole 5 years!

Over the career in fitness & leisure I’ve taught many different exercise sessions, from Mummy Fit working with babies’ weeks old, right up to Chair Base Fitness with the eldest being 92! Whilst working for Magna Vitae, we had a huge Clubbercise session of 180 people per week at The Embassy Theatre too.

Now my current timetable features 2 Pilates classes, Kettlebells and Legs, Bums & Tums. I pride my classes on being accessible and inclusive for everyone. Pilates classes are just £6 with many classes being around £10 locally, I have a variety of age ranges attend. As well fitness sessions, I also provide children’s entertainment such as themed discos and birthday parties.

Who can join in?

Everyone & anyone! I will always try to accommodate any health conditions or additional needs, also if you’re too nervous or anxious I will always try to make attending easier for you, for example meeting you outside or giving you an introduction prior to the session, anything that will help.

Why do people love it?

I believe cause I’m just a laid back, down to earth person. I’ve got curves, I like pizza and promote a balanced lifestyle, exercise because your body can and you enjoy it, not because you feel you must! I really don’t enjoy that most people feel the need to exercise to lose weight or gain muscle to look a particular way because of social media. Lets embrace the enjoyment of your fitness session and work on your mental wellbeing as much as your physical.

Is it beginner friendly?

Totally beginner friendly, I will always cover basics and offer different levels of each exercise that will suit you. You do not need any equipment, apart from Kettlebells, you require your own weight for that session, everything else is provided. If you have your own by all means feel free to use it, such as exercise mats etc. All you need is a drink & sense of humour, because we definitely have a laugh at every session.
