What should I do if I have a concern?

If you have any concerns about the safety or welfare of a child, young person or vulnerable adult in a sporting or physical activity environment please see the list of organisations below.

All clubs should have a welfare officer, who can be the first point of contact for any concerns.

The Child Protection in Sport Unit have advice for parents who are worried about a child, or something they have witnessed at a sports club.

If you think a child or adult is in immediate danger or requires medical attention, you should call the emergency services on 999.

You can also ring the NSPCC helpline on 0808 800 5000 to report immediate risks for children.
