What is VFitness?

Vfitness is a friendly community focused gym based in the heart of Spilsby.

At VFitness we believe that the gym is for every body, and we pride ourselves on not only our gym and facilities, but also our gym community. The support and encouragement that it gives is amazing, it’s a cheesy cliché but we really do see strangers becoming friends! The gym itself is accessible and we make sure that everyone has an induction. But don’t worry if you’ve been with us a while, there is always a member of staff on hand to offer reminders, reassurance and encouragement when needed. Personal Training is also available with friendly and supportive PTs who will laugh and occasionally cry with you.

Personal training is great if you’ve got a goal in mind and need that extra push or some further expertise. I promise we are as pleased and as excited as you when you get to your goal, whether its fitting in a wedding dress/suit or competing or racing, or even just building gym confidence and leaning some new exercise techniques.  

Classes are also great fun, a good laugh and a way to burn some calories and get those endorphins flowing! We offer a wide range of classes that again, are suitable for all ages and fitness levels. We have recently added Clubbercise to our list of already popular classes such as spin-sanity, BoxFit and Burn45.

Who can get involved?

We offer independent memberships from 15 years old, but 13-16 year old’s can also attend. They can have a cheaper membership, just as long as they bring a responsible adult member with them.

The diversity in ages and fitness levels in our members is massive. We have gym-newbies and regular gym goers alike. Everyone has their own reasons for using the gym and their own goals to work towards, and we are more than happy to be able to help and be a part of this! 

We even do classes with the lights turned and glow sticks in hand so you don’t have to worry about other people seeing you workout. Here’s a clip of one of our Clubbercise classes:

Why should I come along?

Exercise has its own well known benefits such as the endorphins, and the links to mental and physical health. At Vfitness we also celebrate the social side of it too with people meeting up and training together. People also come together, bringing friends with them because they know they will enjoy it too. Our personal training clients have had some amazing results, weight loss, competition and race preparation as well as strength and toning.

The Vfitness team have managed to create such a welcoming and inclusive environment. Doesn’t matter if you’re a gym veteran or a newby, you’ll be made to feel welcome, supported and encouraged to reach your goals (plus, the gym is always super clean and tidy!) 

How fit do I need to be? And what should I bring with me?

Every one of our classes is suitable for people of any age and fitness level. Our fab team will tailor and adapt any exercises that they need to, this helps to make sure that everyone gets the most out of our classes. We provide all of the equipment you’ll need, although over time you might buy your own boxing gloves or yoga mat. The gym is suitable for beginners; everyone is shown how to use all of the equipment when they first sign up and we are always on hand for reminders or hints and tips!
