Why Try It?

In our fast-paced world, finding tranquillity and balance can be a challenge. The slow movements of Tai Chi can relieve stress and bring calm to your mind.

The physical benefits of the practice are equally impressive. Research suggests that it can improve heart health by enhancing circulation and lowering blood pressure. Additionally, the practice strengthens the core muscles and improves posture, which can alleviate chronic pain and support overall mobility. For older adults, it offers a gentle way to enhance balance and coordination, which could reduce the risk of falls and injuries. The slow movements can be done seated for anyone with limited mobility (check with your class instructor to see if this is possible).

“I have benefited greatly since taking up Tai Chi. The classes are enjoyable and also relaxing.”
