At Active Lincolnshire, we’re passionate about helping people find ways to be active that work for them, whatever their age, background or stage of life. For many women, menopause can present barriers to being active, from reduced energy and joint pain to anxiety and loss of confidence.
Recognising these challenges, Chris The Mindset Coach created a fitness and wellbeing programme designed specifically for pre-menopausal, menopausal and post-menopausal women.
But the sessions offer more than exercise. Chris has created a welcoming community where women feel supported, understood and confident to get active.
Building confidence through movement
Many women join the programme feeling nervous or unsure of their physical abilities. Through functional fitness sessions focused on strength, mobility and everyday movement, participants are improving their health while building confidence in a supportive environment.
Along the way, many have formed lasting friendships and support networks, helping them stay motivated and connected.

More than exercise
Alongside physical activity, participants can attend workshops covering women’s health and wellbeing. This combination of movement, learning and peer support helps women better understand their health and make positive lifestyle changes.
One participant shared that through Chris’s support and guidance she has experienced less pain, improved health, greater confidence and a happier outlook on life.

Making a difference across Lincolnshire
Chris’s work shows how the right support and environment can help people overcome barriers to being active. By bringing women together to move, learn and connect, he is helping improve health, confidence and wellbeing across Lincolnshire.
